Sabris will help Démos trade a.s. implement a comprehensive solution based on the SAP S/4HANA platform to support all key processes. The new ERP system is intended to provide advantages in the selection of products, supplies or payments as well as sufficient availability of information on the company and products to support purchasing decisions. It will enhance personalised offers of products and services based on individual needs, preferences and experience of customers as well as competitive prices. Moreover, Démos trade expects that the new ERP system will easily adapt to emerging trends in the near future.
Démos trade supplies materials for the manufacture of furniture to tens of thousands of corporate customers in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. “We have long been growing not only in terms of the volume of sales, but also the extent of our product portfolio and scope of our services. However, our existing ERP system has recently started to constrain our further growth and the high degree of customisation even within standard processes led us into a dead end,” Petr Kučera, the CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of Démos trade explained the motivation for changes. “In order to maintain the dynamics of our growth and, at the same time, increase the efficiency of our processes, we decided to change our ERP,” explained Petr Kučera. The company has more than 25 years of experience in the field of supply of furniture components, operates 13 establishments in the Czech Republic, 8 in Slovakia and one in Poland, and plans further growth.
Sabris will provide the customer with a solution based on the SAP S/4HANA platform and SAP Cloud Integration Platform, which will enable optimisation and standardisation of processes, including support for further growth and expansion on foreign markets. “Sabris offered Démos trade an innovative approach and experience with implementing modern ERP solutions in similarly large companies not just from the fields of retail and e-commerce, but also from the areas of food and automotive industries. The company did not delay the strategically important decision even when facing the difficult situation in March caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In the future, the modern ERP system will help it respond better to emerging trends, as well as to reduce costs. “We opted for SAP and Sabris on the basis of a detailed selection procedure and, therefore, I believe that the choice of these reliable partners will allow us to pass the implementation stage without any major issues and that the new ERP will meet our expectations,” added Petr Kučera.
